Welcome to Perimosa. These terms govern your use of the Perimosa mobile application and related services. By using Perimosa, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Perimosa Is (and Is Not)

Perimosa is a wellness tracking and awareness tool designed to help you log perimenopause symptoms, identify patterns, and better understand your body's changes over time.

Perimosa is not a medical application. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide medical advice. The AI-generated insights, pattern observations, and educational content within the app are for informational purposes only and should never replace professional medical judgment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

2. Your Account

To use Perimosa, you need to create an account using your email address or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Perimosa. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Subscription Terms

Free and Premium Features

Perimosa offers both free and premium features. Free features include daily check-ins, basic symptom tracking, and limited history views. Premium features, including full AI insights, extended pattern analysis, and unlimited history, require an active subscription.

Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings:

iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Perimosa
Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Perimosa

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until then. Perimosa does not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you may be eligible for a refund through Apple or Google's refund policies.

Price Changes

We may adjust subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will take effect at the start of your next billing period, and you will be notified in advance so you can cancel if you prefer.

4. Your Data and Content

You own the data you enter into Perimosa. Your check-ins, symptoms, notes, and tracked data belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using the app, you grant Perimosa a limited license to process your data for the purpose of providing the service (displaying your entries, generating insights, syncing across devices). This license ends when you delete your account.

5. Community Guidelines

Perimosa may include community features where users can share experiences and support each other. If you participate in community features, you agree to:

Treat other members with respect and empathy
Not share medical advice or present yourself as a healthcare professional (unless you are one and clearly identify yourself)
Not post content that is harassing, discriminatory, or abusive
Not share other members' personal health information without their consent
Not use the community for advertising, spam, or self-promotion
Report content that violates these guidelines

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Community discussions are peer support, not medical consultations.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your Perimosa account at any time from the app settings. When you delete your account:

All personal data on our servers is permanently deleted within 30 days
Your CloudKit data is removed
Local app data is erased from your device
Any active subscription must be cancelled separately through your app store
This action cannot be undone

We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account if you want to keep a copy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Perimosa app, including its design, code, content, branding, and AI models, is the intellectual property of Perimosa and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the app or any part of it
Use the Perimosa name, logo, or branding without written permission
Extract, scrape, or systematically download content from the app
Resell or redistribute the app or its content

Educational content within the app (articles, tips, learn library) is provided for your personal use only and may not be republished without permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Perimosa in good faith and in accordance with these terms. You may not:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
Interfere with the app's functionality or infrastructure
Use automated tools to access the app (bots, scrapers, etc.)
Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limitations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perimosa and its team are not liable for:

Any health decisions you make based on information provided by the app
Inaccuracies in AI-generated insights or pattern observations
Loss of data due to device failure, sync issues, or circumstances beyond our control
Service interruptions or downtime
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app

Perimosa is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do our best to keep the app reliable and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free content.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold Perimosa harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the app, or your reliance on app content for medical decisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of Perimosa after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the app and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
